Trillanes didnâ€™t get rewards. It was a voice out anti corruption. I think Filipinos are tired of fighting the corruption by themselves and getting killed, Trillanes came out of nowhere and stood out and ready to die for them, thatâ€™s what filipinos really like to see. Ninoy sacrificed his life for all filipinos, and its been a while now. Before you mouth out supposed “crimes” of magdalo soldiers please look at what had transpired first. Not what the media has dictated upon us.

No one was hurt in Oakwood, ask the ambassadors themselves, they were treated with respect.

2nd the “sorry” of the PGMA was a farce, and up until now she isn’t paying for her crimes. Who’s in jail right now? If you know anything then these statements are just praise releases, made by PR and spinsters to appease the masses. Empty words bought by gullible people.

I might not agree with the ways of Trillanes and the mutineers myself but I agree with what they fought for.
There is corruption in the military and the chain of command leads to the president herself. He wanted to change this corruption but they were pressed to a wall. Despite the means at least they did something to affect change. If he didn’t would we be aware of what’s going on in the military?

And no they did not plant bombs.

Trillanes does not deserve to get a second chance, he once had everything in his hand, the taxes of the people made his through the military school, it was an opportunity for him to right the wrong in his own way so if there is a second chance then there is also a saying that an opportunity once lost is lost forever,

While I agree that everybody deserves a second chance (how many times shall i forgive my brother? – seventy times seven), I cannot and will not agree that Mr. Trillanes deserves my vote for a Senate seat. A senate seat is not a “second chance”. By running for senator, Mr. Trillanes is not asking for a second chance, but rather he wants to be REWARDED. Rewarded for what, i do not know.

If Mr. Trillanes had apologized to the public (as a man of honor would have done) for endangering the lives of the ordinary people by planting live bombs at a populated area, and atoned for his mistakes, he would have had my admiration.

At least, PGMA had apologized for her “lapse in judgement”. In time, justice will be dealt for her “lapse in judgement”. That is another story.

No. Mr. Trillanes does not and will not have my vote.

if we are believeing in second chances, would mrs. arroyo deserves second chance too?

she needs to be punished first for rigging the elections and other corruption issues before we even start talking about second chances.

And no, i think it’s too late na for her to be given a second chance, given the fact na hanggang ngayon ayaw pa rin niyang bumaba sa pwesto na ninakaw niya. maybe if she stepped down noong 2005, and called for special elections, people would be more willing to forgive her now.
