Walk for “Nicole”
Here’s a text notice I got from good friend and noted publicist Joan Orendain:

“Let us join “Walk 4 Nicole, Walk 4 Justice” on Saturday, Nov 18, Assembly 6:30 AM @ Roxas Boulevard cornr Quirino Ave to Raha Sulayman Plaza/Malate Church for a Mass. No banners/placards/org’l name wil b carried 2 focus on d single slogan “Justice for Nicole!” Pls. pass. ”
Blogger’s Note: This is a chance for sympathetic citizens to come out and join a nonpartisan walk for justice. Those who can’t make it, please say a prayer for Nicole, regardless of how you believe the case should be resolved. Thanks!

A friend who has connections in the Japanese Diet has informed me that the Social Democrats in the Japanese government and other NGOs will be including Nicole’s case in the Permanent People’s Tribunal in the Hague. This group has been active in Iraq and Afghanistan. Some had been participants/consultants in the International Criminal Court. I hope this will lead to something concrete.
